Food for La Plata Kids
The beneficiary of the First National Bank of Durango Muck and Mire on the Mountain will be “Food for La Plata Kids” which will benefit organizations in Durango, Bayfield and Ignacio that provide food for hungry children, including Bayfield Snack Pack Program, Ignacio Snack Program and the Manna Soup Kitchen Kids Backpack Program.
A donation of $5 is requested for the Kids Mud Run and will be given to “Food for La Plata Kids.”
For the months of July and August, please help stock our kids food pantries for the upcoming school year with non-perishable donations which can be dropped off at all First National Bank of Durango locations in Durango and Bayfield. Donations must be nutritious foods with EASY OPEN containers: granola bars, single-serve instant oatmeal packets, fruit cups, dehydrated fruit, canned soup, canned tuna, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed dinners, peanut butter, etc.

Monetary donations are also accepted at all First National Bank of Durango locations.
All First National Bank of Durango Muck and Mire Mud Adventure Race contestants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate at DMR the day of the race. Monetary donations will also be accepted the day of the race at DMR.
