Purgatory Sports has an array of awesome ski clothing to choose from. We carry Helly Hansen, Obermeyer, Marker, Orage, O'Neil and Sunice. All of these brands can be found in Women's, Men's and Kids sizes. We also carry a wide selection of gloves; Scott, Gordini, Grandoe and Seirus in Men's, Women's and Kids sizes. Need goggles? Choose from Spy, Carrera and Scott. Purgatory Sports also carries all your cold weather gear, face masks, glove liners and balaclavas. Backcountry Experience, Kling Mountain Guides and San Juan Ski Company
Backcountry Experience has joined the Durango Mountain Resort community in the former location of Pine Needle Mountaineering on the Plaza. Open year-round, BCE will offer equipment and apparel for backcountry and telemark skiing, mountaineering, rock and ice climbing and backpacking.
Co-located with BCE are Kling Mountain Guides and San Juan Ski Company. KMG’s services include guided climbing, backcountry skiing, mountaineering, rock and ice climbing courses, AIARE avalanche courses and wilderness medical training courses. San Juan Ski Company is Colorado’s largest backcountry snow cat skiing operation, offering guided skiing in 35,000 acres of breathtaking terrain in the West San Juan Mountains.
